diy: pill box hat
mahalia and i got invited to a retro christmas party with some new friends, so naturalllllyyy we began to channel mad men for our inspiration!
we walked around the vintage shops in greenwich village and i found the PERFECT little 50s pill box hat.
BUT! it was $50!!!! for a felt hat?! no way. so…. we made our own!

one word. AWFUL!!!!!!!
the best part…. new york city & the bloopers at the end. we were cringing throughout the whole movie. at one point i put my coat on because i was ready to leave. the story lines were pure cheese cliches. NO ONE loves nye the way they portrayed it— especially new yorkers.
i wouldn’t even spend waste $1 at the red box [WITH a coupon] to see this...

it has been confirmed… ding dong the mouse is dead! our upstairs neighbor told us tonight that they caught TWO mice — ekkkkk!!!
but that means they are gone! [mahalia put peanut butter on one of the traps tonight- juuuusssttt iinnn caasseee]

more than an opsession....
opi has a collection after the muppets movie in all our favorite glitter colors!! i’m rocking ‘designer… be better’ & mahalia picked out the ‘dark grey w multi sparkles’. when you’re out getting your nails did… don’t go for the winter dark color / safe option…. go glitter!!!
